Biography_

Brought together in February 2003, 4 individuals of exotic taste and different backgrounds came together with the focus to make a band that didn't have a typical Louisville sound. Soon after a few practices at a friend's basement, they decided that they would name the band Cosmonaut. Cosmonaut played their first show with Integrity at Pappy's and represent exactly what they want out of music. Cosmonaut plays a wild technical blend of rock fury coupled with vast heavy musical influences. They will not play music within the norms and boundaries of heavy music, but weild their creativity into something new for their listeners. Cosmonaut sets out to play some of the most energetic passionate live performances this side of the Mississippi. Cosmonaut has played shows with Integrity, Curl Up and Die, Cursed, and plans on playing more shows as well as playing out of state.
